I am so excited to announce my new pricing format for 2011! As a photographer pricing can be maddening. I mean want to pull your hair out because it’s so complicated maddening. Then it hit me… why does it have to be complicated? IT DOESN’T!! So after reviewing my 2010 sales, reviewing the countless inquiries over the last year and sitting down and really thinking about what I would want as a client I overhauled my collections and came up with a system that is as easy as 1,2,3 and simple as A,B,C,D… Not making sense yet? Read on…
There are three easy steps to a custom photography session with Tami Wilson Photography:
1. Choose your session
2. Choose your collection
3. Choose your products
Step 1: This one is pretty self explanatory. Do you need a session for your newborn, child, high school senior or family?
Step 2: Choosing a collection. What was once difficult is now as simple as A, B,C and D. Meaning there are 4 collections to choose from and they ALL include digital images. Just decide how many digital images you would like and choosing the collection is a breeze.
Okay so I have to address this issue as it seems to be a hot topic amongst photographers lately. Some photographers do not want to offer digital images and at one time I may have felt that way but I have slowly come to realize we are living in a digital age and people want digital. Heck, I want digital! So, I think as a business owner you have to figure out what your clients need and/or want and provide that to them. I also believe as a photographer it’s my job to educate my clients about the proper way to print their digital files to provide the best outcome. No printing at drugstores here people!
Oh and if you happen to be someone who could care less about digital files. Don’t worry, there is an option for you as well.
Step 3: Choosing your products. Fun! Although my collections do offer digital files, they also offer print credits. So you can get that awesome gallery wrap canvas or those birth annoucements you need.
That’s it! To quote my six year old “Easy peasy lemon squeezy!”
